LETTER CARRIERS' DELIVERY. Deliveries by Letter Carriers are made daily. Town delivery at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Suburban delivery at 9 a.m. MAILS WILL CLOSE AS FOLLOWS : Monday, -29th October For Canada and United States of America via Vancouver at 3. 15 p.m. For New South Wales and Queensland, per s.s. Waikare, at 3.30 p.m. Ihe Waikare will leave Lyttelton on 18th inst., and will be due in Sydney on sth November. Money Orders and Registered Letters, 3.30 p.m. Parcels at 3.15 p.m. Tuesday, 30th October. For the United Kingdom andthe Continent of Europe (via Brindisi), India, China, Straits Settlements, Aden, Egypt, and the Australian Colonies, per s.s. Monowai, at 4.30 p.m. Money Orders and Registered Letters at 3.30 p.m. Parcels for Australian Colonies at 3.30 p.m The English mail of this despatch will be due in London on 9th December. Note — Mails will close at Sydney for Natal and Capetown on 27th October ; at Auckland for Raratonga and Tahiti on the 29th October ; for Fiji on 21st November. J. W. WILKIN, Chief Postmaster.
