Jimmy Governor Captured

Received 27 tb, 5.32 p.m. Jimmy GoAernor has beet wounded and captured. Received 27th, 8.48 p.m. Jimmy Governor robbed Wallace's hut and Wallace located his camp. A party of settlers watched it till morning when they called on him to surrender. He bolted and, after an exciting chase, received a shot gun wound in the back, but nob serious. He congratulated his capturers and said the police could not catch a newborn calf. Jimmy had a Winchester rifle but it had jammed. For the last three we»-ka he had lived chiefly on honey aud was very weak. He says Joe left him on the 17th, hiding about 50 miles from where Jimmy was captured. Oct. 28. Received 29th, 1.18 a.m. Jimmy Governor has made a long statement. He said that the Maw beys were murdered because they were always taunting his wife because she had married a blackfellow. He said Joe shot McKay and Fitzpatrick. The police narrowly nrissed capturing them several times. They were tired of being out, and intended to surrender.
