Lord Roberts reports that 120!) more Boers surrendered to General Hunter, who expects his total to reach 4000-. Amongso chose surrendered are Commandaats Rouz, Fontenel, Deploy, Potgieter, Joubert and Brice. General Hamilton collected 1200 rifles, 600 ponies and an Armstrong gun. Oliver, witb five guce, broke away in the direction of Harriemiih. The enemy removed the rails near Frederickstad and a supply train wai consequently derailed, the driver and 12 of the Shropshire Light lufantty were killed aad 30 ic--1 jured.
