Owing to the large supply prices declined from 10s to 15s per head, in some cases even more. Extra prime brought L 9 5s to L1010s; ordinary, L 7 10s to L 8; medium, i 6 10s to L 7 ss; light, L 5 to L 6 ; best heifers, L 6 15s to L 7 10a ; medium, L 5 15a to L 6 5a ; light, L 4 10s to L 5 ss. , , , Fat Sheep-2226 penned -to a very good demand and prices were on the whole equal to the best of last week’s. Beat wethers, in the wool, 18s 6d to 19s 6d; medium, 16s 6d to 17s 6d; best ewes, 18s to 19a ; medium, 15s to 17s ; beat wethers, thorn, 15s to 16s 6d; medium, 13s to 14s 6d ; light. Ils 6d tol2s 6d ; best ewes, shorn, 14s to 15s ; medium and old, 12s 6d to 13a 9d: inferior, 109 to Ila 6d. The lambs were a 1 taken by the trade at prices about equal to last week’s, viz: best, Ila 6d to 12a 9d; good, 10s to Ils ; light and medium, 8s to 9a. Pigg—l7o ya ded.
