Burnside Stock Market. (By Tblbgraeh.) Duxbdin, April 26. Fat Cattle—l 23 head yarded, about half being prime quality-. Competition was brisk and prices ruled 5s to 10s per head higher than last week. Best bullocks brought L 7 10s to L 9 10s; medium, L 6 to L 7 7s 6d; best cows and heifers, L 5 to L 6 10s; medium, LS 10s to L 4 17s 6d; aged cows, LI lOe to L2 10s. Fat Sheep—ls 43 penned. Bidding was very animated, and prices showed an advance of 2s per head as compared with last week. Best crossbred wethers brought 13s 6d to 14s 9d ; medium, 12s to 13s 3d ; light, 10s to Ils 9d ; best ewes, 12s 6d to 13s 9d—extra prime, 15s; medium, 10s 9d to 12s 3d; light, 9s 9d to 10s 6d ; merino wethers, 6s 9d to 8s 3d. Lambs met with ready sale at, for prime freezers, 10s to 12s 3d ; butchers’ best, 8s Cd to 9s 0d; medium, 7s 6d to 8s 3d. piga—Prices ruled in favour of sellers: suckers, Ss to 14s; slips, 16s to 17s 6d ; stores, 33s 6d to 355; porkers, 36s to 44s ; baconers, 45s to 55s 6d.
