From Northern Porta—Tarawera From Melbourne—Wakatipu The steamer Talune did not sail for Melbourne till Saturday evening. ... „ The steamer Invercargill arrived from Preservation Inlet on Saturday forenoon, landed mails and passengers, and went on to Dunedin. The steamer Hawea arrived yesterday from Auckland. She lands a quantity of cargo and loads several thousand sacks of produce for the north. The steamer Banffshire should arrive to-day from Sydney direct. The pert will also be visited by two ocean liners within the next fortnight, vis., the Indraghiri and Rakaia, both of which will sail for London direct. (Bv Oablx.) London, Sept. 2.
