The steamer Invercargill arrived from Preservation Inlet early on Saturday, took in transhipments ex Poherua, and sailed for Dunedin. The steamer Poherua sailed for Auckland at 3.30 p.m on Saturday. The steamer Talune arrived from Dunedin on Saturday morning, and sailed for Melbourne via Hobart at 6 p.m Captain Levack, at one time master of the S.S. and A. Co’s s.s. Sydney, April 30. Arrived, last night—S.S Tarawera and Wakatipu from Wellington. May 1. Sailed, yesterday—H.M.S Royal Arthur, for New Zealand. The barque Cloud, bound from Lady Elliott Island to Dunedin, was sighted off Newcastle on Friday, making for Sydney with her maintop-gallant-mast carried away. Melbourne, May 1. Sailed—S.S Waikare, for Bluff.
