The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s steamer Tekoa arrived from Timaru yesterday morning, and berthed at 2 p.m. The Tekoa is commanded by Captain J J Hamon, and bis officers are—Chief, Mr B W,l’arsons , second, Mr J W Barnes; third, Mr H E Whitehead; fourth, Mr S Porter. Mr D Swan is chief engineer, and Mr W Smith refrigerating engineer. The Tekoa loads 13,000 carcases of mutton and lamb and 1300 cases ribbits. . . , . The ketch Gratitude sailed for the Macquarie Islands yesterday.
