(E flat basses: Ablet (Christchurch), 1 Dickson (Wellington), 2 ; B flat basses: Smith (Wellington), 1, Baker (Wellington), 2. Trombone : Moore (Stanmore), 1 ; Cummings (Wellington), 2.
