Manopouri (leaving Port Chalmers on 7th inst., at 3.30 p.m. Money Orders and Registered Letters at 2.30 p m Parcels for New South Wales and Queensland only at 3.30 p.m. Mail due in Sydney on 14th January. Noth—Mails close at Auckland for Raratonga and Tahiti on sth, January; At Sydney for Now Hebrides on sth January; for Noumea on 6th January, at Adelaide for Mauritus, on 20th January. From the Ist January the Parcel [Post Bates of postage to the United Kingdom will be reduced to Is for the first lb and 6d for each subsequent lb. On and after the 2nd January, the Money Order and Savings Bank branch of the Chief Post Office, Invercargill, will be closed on Saturdays at 1 p.m. and will reopeu on Saturdays from 7 till 8.30 p.m. for the receipt of Savings Bank deposits only.
