In wrestling Powley was first in both Cornish and Border styles, with Skinner second in the former and Dickson in the latter. The mile distance of the President’s test bicycle race was won by W. B. Bell (scr.), G. R. Maxwell (10yds) 2. Time—2 min. 22 l-sth secs. R. Scott (100yds) won the 5 mile bicycle race, with Ralston (scr) 2. Time—l 4 min. 31J secs. S. Minn (75yds) won the two mile second-class bicycle race, with R. Scott (20yds) second. Time—s min. 26 secs. The mile running ev<nt was won by W. Walker (75yds), N. Binnie (95yds) 2. Time—4 min. 46J secs. Councillor A. Morrison died very. suddenly of apoplexy on Thursday.
