LETTER CARRIERS’ DELIVERY.

Deliveries by Letter Carriers are made dally— Town Delivery at 8 a.m. and-1 p.m. Suburban delivery at 9 a.m. MAILS WILL CLOSE AS FOLLOWS

Mararoa, at 1 p.m. Money Orders, Registered Letters, and Parcels at hoon The English mail of thia despatch will he due in London on 16th February.

Note—Mails close at Auckland for Raratonga and Tahiti on sth January ; At Sydney : for biji on 31st December; for New Hebrides on sth January; for Noumea on 6th January, at Adelaide for Mauritus, on 20th January.

Note—New Year’s Day being a Post Office holiday all mails advertised 'for despatch on that day will be closed at 8 p.m on Thursday, the 31st inst , There will be no delivery by letter carriers on New Year’s day, but, instead, a general delivery will he made over the counter at the Post Office on ' Thursday, 31st inst, between the hours of 7 and 8 p.m On the 26th (Boxing Day) the Post Office will be

On and after the 2nd January, lhe Money Order and- Savings Bank branch of the Chief Post Office, Invercargill, will be closed on Saturdays at / 1 p.m. and will reopeu on Saturdays from 7 till 8.30 p.m. for the receipt of Savings Bank deposits only.
