The steamer Corinna arrived from Dunedin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, took on board a quantity of produce, and sailed" for Dunedin at 3.30 p.m. Whilst on the voyage from Mauritius to Port Phillip Mr Waterston's barque Alexa passed through some Stormy experiences, and several of her crew being laid down with fever, the vessel was placed at an increased disadvantage. She left Mauritius on 9th April with a cargo of sugar, and on the 14th ult. fell in with a furious west south- westerly gale in lat. 39.30 S. and long. 95 E. The vessel was hove to for 24 hours, during which prodigious seas broke over her and did a good deal of damage, the decks being continually full of water. Everything of a movable nature on deck was washed overboard, and the position of the barque was critical. At the end of 36 hours from its commencement the gale subsided, and the vessel, attended by fresh north-westerly to south-westerly winds, proceeded. [By Cablb.] Lokdos, June 12. Arrived— S.S. Arcadia, from Plymouth. Passengers for New Zealand- Messrs Hallenstein, George, and Laughton. Hobart, June 13. Arrived — S.S. Tongariro, from London, and sailed for Wellington at 5 p.m. She landed 21 passengers here and has 49 for New Zealand. Stbkky, June 14. Arrived— S.S. Hauroto, from Wellington ; Waihora, from Auckland.
