MORE HONOURS FOR SOUTHLAND,

Dunedin, June 11
The Winter Show was largely attended this afternoon and evening. The takings so far are within LlO of the total for three days last year. The gold medal for grain wm 3ained by Messrs Tothill, Wat9on and Co with 27 points ; D. Reid and Co., 2nd, 24 points. Mr Walter Blackie (Mosgiel) takes the gold medal for seeds and also for the best exhibit from tho farm. For the gold medal for roots Messrs R. Charters (Mosgiel) and C. Wyeth (Woodlands) tied. Captain Duncan, of the s.f. Morayshire, was so impressed with Miss Kempohall'ajcollection of fancy butter that he has obtained permissioH to take it to London in a cool chamber.
