LETTER CARRIERS' DELIVERY. Deliveries by Letter Carriers are made daily — Town Delivery at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Suburban delivery at 9 a.m. ■AILS WILL CLOSE AS FOLLOWS Thursday, 2xd April.

For the United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe, (via Naples), India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Aden, Egypt, Mauritius, Tasmania, and the Australian Colonies, per s.s. Tarawera, at 1 p.m. Money Orders, Registered Letters and Parcels at noon.
The English mail of this despatch will be due in in London on 20th May.
Correspondence intended to be forwarded by this opportunity must be specially addressed via Naples
Nora— Mails close at Sydney for New Hebrides on 30th March, for Noumea 4th April, at Auckland for Fiji per 1 avanui on 11th April, for Raratonga and Tahiti per Richmond on 16th April. From the Ist April until the 30th September, mails for Hossburn will close on wonday, at 6.30 a.m. and Friday, at 11.10 a.m, and arrive on Monday at 7.30 p.m, and Saturday at 10 a. m Mails for Mar. roa, Te Anau, Manapouri, and Glade House will close on Friday at 11.10 a.m, and arrive on Monday, a; 7.20 p.m NoTBr-Good Friday being a Post Office Holiday, all mails usually despatched on that day will be closed at 8 p.m. on Thursday, 2nd April. Town and suburban receivers cleared at 7 p. in, and a delivery over the counter between the hours of 6 p.m and 8 p.m on Thursday, 2n 1 April On Raster Monday the Post Office will be opened in all branches between 9 and 10 a.m. A general delivery of correspondence will be made at the Post Office between the hours of 6 and S p.m on Saturday, 4th April The Telephone Exchange will be open as usual Telegraph Office will be open from 9 a.m till 10 a.m, and from 7 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
