Dusebin, Aug. 7. Fat Cattle—96 head yarded, nearly all medium to light and mostly prime. The number yarded being hardly sufficient. Prices ruled from 15s to 20s higher than last week’s. Best bullocks, L 9 to LlO ; medium, L 7 5s to LBlss; light, L 5 10s to L 6 15s; best cows and heifers, L 8 to L 9 12s 6d ; ordinary, L 5 5s to L 7 5s ; inferior. L 3 10s to L 4 15s. Fat Sheep—2B29 penned. The bulk were useful quality, several pens of prime and extra heavy. There was a good demand, the butchers bidding with spirit and prices, both for prime and ordinary, showed an improvement on last week’s rates. Extra prime heavy crossbred wethers, 15s 6d to 16s ; good, 13s to 14s 6d ; medium, 12s to 12s 9d ; light, 8s 9d to Ils ; prime ewes, 12s to 13s 9d ; medium, 10s 3d to Ils 6d: light, 9s to 10s; merino wethers, 10s 6d.

There was a searcity of porkers and the few forward met with fair sale; small had slow sales : suokera, its to Gd ; slips, 6s 6d to 118 ; stores, 13s to 10s porkers, 19s to 20s Od. . At the same time any small lots offering are readily placed at prices on a par with those lately quoted. Oats—Transactions during the past week have been unimportant, but holders for the most part are firm oonsideriog the present lull only temporary, as Immediately the supplies sent away from hero and Bluff some time since are run dowm it is expected the drop will soon bo recovered. Meantime buyers decline to operate at over the following quotations, say, for prime milling, bright and stout, 38dto Is Bjd; best short blight stout feed, Is 7jd to lsBd ; medium to good, lafliid to Is 7d; inferior to medium, Is 6b to la 6d; prime long Tartars, full and bright, for seed, Is 9d to 2s (ex store, sacks extra, net) Barley has moderate demand, but prices enow no Improvement, indeed those Obtaining for feed and discoloured are much lower.
