Counsel for lefendant submitted that plaintiffs must be onauited as the claim was in contravention f clause 7of the Truck Act, 1891. Mr Sartin, S.M,, upheld the contention.

June 9. Two young men named Andrew and Javid Kennedy were arrested last night and iharged with causing grievous bodily harm o Louie Smith, who was admitted to the iospital a day or two ago suffering from tarns. It is alleged that the accused attempted to force their way into a Chinanan’s house in which Smith was living and kat in the struggle a kerosene lamp held by Smith was upset, resulting in her clothes atching fire.
