LETTER CARRIERS’ DELIVERY. Deliveries by Letter Carriers are made daily— Town Delivery nt 8 a.m. and I p.m. Suburban delivery at 9 a.m. MAILS WILL CLOSE AS FOLLOWS Saturday, lOtii November. For the United Kingdom, the Continent of Europe, East and West Coasts of South America, per R M S Tainui, nt 3.45 p.m. TheTainuiwill leave Wellington on 15th November and be due in London on 25th December Money orders and Registered Letters will close at 2.45 and parcels at 3.45 p.m Tuesday, 13rn November. For the United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe (via Brindisi), India, Chinn, Japan, Straits Settlements, Aden, Egypt, Tasmania, , and the Australian Colonies, per s.s. Manapouri, at 1 p.m. Money orders will be issued and letters registered up to noon The English mail of this despatch will be due in London on 25th December, Thursday, 15th November For Puysegur Point and Cromarty, per s,s. Invercargill. at noon Note—A Post Office has been opened at Otatara under the charge of Mr Anthony Campbell, Storekeeper. Mails will arrive at Invercargill on Tuesday and Friday, at 11.15 a.m. and close at 1.30 p.m. same days. The 9th November being a Post Office Holiday al mails advertised for dispatch on that day will close at Bp.ni. on the Bth inst. The town and suburban receivers will be cleared at 7 p.m., and, instead of the usual delivery by carriers, a general delivery of correspondence will be made over the public counter at the Post Office on the Sth, between the hours of 7 and 8 p.m. The Telegraph Office will be open on the 9th inst, between the hours 9 and 10 a.m, and 7 and 8 p.m. The Telephone Exchange will be open as usual.
