(By Telegraph.) Wellington, Nov. 5. The case Eccles v. Hall is being argued. The case was removed for argument from Christchurch, and involves a question arising out of the bankruptcy of Harper and Co. The plaintiff is the executor of Alajor Eccles, formerly aide-de-camp to Sir William Jervois, and the defendants are Sir John Hall and Air Westenra, trustees of the late Sir Cracroft Wilson and his widow. The plaintiff claims to recover L6OO from the defendants for consideration of the transfer of a mortgage. The case is proceeding.
