Too Wise
We thought he was the wisest man Residing in our town And for the wisdom which he naa; We eave him great renown. Wo thought he knew it all, indeed We thought he knew much more, ..., And all he did showed him to us As wiser than before; ... Until one day he saw a gun, And as he had a donbt As to its loadedness, he just Blew in it to find out? • And so he did—in such a way As shattered his renown, And for his epitaph wo wrote: ‘The biggest fool in town.
