Coursing.
[By Telegraph.] Dunedin, Aug. 5. The coursing meeting was concluded today. The ground was sloppy aud before the’ifinals drizzling rain set in. Following are the results :— Champion Stakes—Mr Price’s Cardigan, by Rotomahana—Kathleen, beat Mr Harley’s Pine Hut, by Red Pine—Fly, and won the stakes. Maiden Stakes—(Fifth round)—Lady Zetland beat Burd Helen, Florrie beat Castoff. Final—Mr Myers’ Lady Zetland, by Newton—Effie Deans, beat Mr Rountree’s Florrie, by Snowdon—Fenella, and won the stakes. Sapling Stakes—(Final)—Mr Merger's Despised, by Red Pine—Whiff, beat Mr Kidd’s Kingdom, by Kinsman—Kismet, and won the stake. Supplementary Stakes — (Final) —Mr Myers’ Stormy Petrel, by Brewer—Stormy Night, beat Mr Harley’s Maltstress, by Brewer—Deception, and won the stake.
