Jones Street, South Dunedin, i^^- V i;>th February, I^Ol'. Tho Rongoa Manufacturing Co., Duiud'ii gil t 3 ) — In 1854 I met with a buggy accident by which my right aukle was severely injured. Twenty years ago the leg broke on in painful, discharging s res; it became mm h Bwolleu and discoloured, and the foot was really useless. I suffered agonies with every change of weather, and dreaded the approael' of each winter. I tried every expedient. Un without avail, and was even advised to hay« my leg amputated. In December, ISOI, after twenty years o' acute sutrering, I was ail vised to try Rongoa. The leg had then three sores above the ank!i — one on each side, four inches long by thric inches wide, and about three-quarters of an inch deep. TJie third and most painful sore. however, was immediately over the siiii bone. On the 6rst day on which Rongoa wa; applied about half a pint of matter 00/.cd out T c sores were daily syringed with eqml proporti us of Rougoa Lotion and warm water; lint soaked with lotion was then applied and covered with oiled silk and tin leg bandaged. At the end of a week the sores presented a healthier appearance, and t he inflammation was mueli reduced. At the end of thu:weeks the "llensieo discharge had ee.i.sed, and healthy new lle.«h began to f-n in. In the beginning of February the cure was complete, the leg hail recovered its natural shape an" elasticity, the wounds were filled with new tle~h, and a firm skin had formed. The. cure was effected without causing m>u v pain whatever, and without injury to n>\ gi ueral health. I can now bend the foot an< walk with ease. Katk Hamon.
