A Reasonable Suggestion.

♦ TO THE EDITOR. Sib, — I had occasion to visit, as plaintiff, the R.M. Court of your city on Tuesday, and on arriving there was politely informed that the summons taken out had not been served, consequently my day was gone and expenses for nothing — a loss which no one gains by. And this causes me to think that the best use is not made of the telegraph and postal service we have at hand, or the serving officer would have informed the Court and the Court would have sent me a post card which would have prevented such loss. How often such occurs I cannot say, but some two or three years ago (the last time I troubled the Court) the very Ba tne thing happened, so that it appears to me there is room for better provision being made when the first cap misses fire. — I am, &c, T. Hodgkinsok. Makarewa, 11th May.
