This morning a man named CharlesStewart, working for Williams i»ros. , road contractois on the Mangoanc load, about 15 miles from Pahiatua, was in a cutting when a large boulder rolled down on him and he was knocked to pieces. The. man is not known to have any friends in the neighbourhood. A tale of city properties on behalf of the Bank of New Zealand Estates Ct>. realised good prices.
