I.C.C. v. STAR. The return match between the teams of the above clubs was commenced on the I. C. C. ground yesterday, before a large number of spectators. The Star batsmen failed to make any stand against the bowling of Findlay and Dalrymple. The pitch was admitted to be about the worst that they had ever tried, and the batsmen who had to face Dalrymple did not come off without some severe knocks. For the Star the most successful bowlera were Mclnerney, Gibson, and J. Kingsland. The match will be continued next Wednesday. Following were the scores : — I.C.C.
