The Botomahana arrived from Danedin at 710 a.m yesterday, an ■■ sailed for Melbourne at 4 pjn. Some amusement was caused by the late arrival at the wharf of a saloon pa&senger, «ho in moat pathetic accents asked Captain Kennedy to take him on board. The captain ooald not withstand this appe *1, and the tardy one was slang round the waist and hoisted on board.
