Jewel and Gibraltar did a strong mile and a half, the former finishing well. Merriment did a mile on the tan in 1 mm. 53i sees. Bengal and Syracuse beat Rivulet over six furlongs in 1 mm. 22 sees. Fernando is still hardening for the Newmarket Handicap, and 100 to 6 is taken freely.
