Taipo Hill, Maheno, August 1, 1«88. Dears Sire,— The Artificial Manures ptttv ekased from you by Mr Teschemaker -have giyen much satisfaction. We have always drilled in with Swedes, and it has proved * benefit in two ways ; first, it "forces the young plant on so that there is a good top to keep the drought out of the ground ;>hn'd secondly, practically doubles the weight of turnips to the acre. We shall be wasting some more in the spring. (Signed) Youii traly, R A OH AFFBY, Manager
Bae'i Junction, August 3, 1888 Dear Sin,— The Super phoiphate of Lime I purchased from you last year gave the utmost satisfaction. I tried it on » portion of one paddock sown with turnipß, leaving a portion without any. The portion dressed gave a very good crop considering the season, the other part being a complete failure, I can strongly recommend it for turnips, but have not tried it for any other crop. (Signed) Your truly, JAMBS BINNETT
Woodlands, North- Bast Valley, Aug 1, 1888 Tear Sir*,— l use your Fine Bonedust for oats and turnips, between Scwt and 4cwt per acre. Oats sown down with grass in Waikon'aiti district a good brewed of both ; and I am confident had not the wind shook out a few days before cutting I would have reaped 16 or 12 bushels per acre more on which bone dust was used. lam well satisfied with what I used for turnips. I reckon it muck superior to bonedust from Digester or any other looally-made bonedust, as I have tried them all. (Signed) Yours truly, JOHN BUT3AB

Abbotsford, August 3, 1888, Dear Sire,— l can testify to the fertilising qualities of your Bonedust and Superphosphates for turnips, both broadcast and in drills. I used about 2 cwt to the acre. I consider cccy are the cheapest manures obtainable at your present prices. (Bigned) Yours truly, JAMES FBEEMAN,
Koau Bank ITarm, August 3, 1888.Dear Sirs, — I tried your Superphosphate of Lime alongside oi Chesterfield guano. The Superphosphate acted more quickly on tke young plants, and gave a better result than the guano. (Signed) Yours truly, J. TORRANCB.
Waitati.lJuly 26, 1888: Dear Sirs, — I h»v tued your Fins Bonedust ; it is very o?n< Seial to seeds, and has given me great satisfa tion " (Signed) Your uly, HUGH POOLS. "Wairuna, Angust I, 1888. Dear Sir*,— The turnip crop of 1888 ii almost everywhere a partial failure in this district, owing to the continual cold, wet weather and succesiive hailstorms during the young plants' most critical stage. We believe, however, that we have used your Bonedust the most extensively in this district, and we have the best results where tke conditions were favourable. The crops are splendid for drills. We used at the rate of ?£ cwt per acre, and consider this quantity sufficient when the ground is in fair condition, (Signed) Youth truly, T. &J. TAYLOB.
Anderson's Bay, July 26, 1888. Dear Sirs,— The manures procured from you lust season we were very careful to give a fair trial to, at we bad several oiher kinds of manures, and wanted to know which were tbo best value. The drills were clobo, and five chains long, and the following are the avenge weights per drill of your manures. Superphosphate and fine Bonedust were very good, but we were disappointed ia the Blood Manure for turnips :~ TUBNIP PEODUCT, Superphosphate of Lime - 10 cwt. Fine Bonednst ... 9£ cwt, Blood Manure ... 2£ cwt, Where no manure was applied 2" cwt. Dear Sirs, Yours truly, GOBDON BROS., Nurserymen. Comment by proprietors : Blood Manure is quite unsuitable alone for turnips. Mosgiel, August 24, 1888 Dear Sirs,— l have tried your Superphosphate of Lime and Boneduit separately on 12 acres of turnips, and find the Superphosphate to be the best manure 1 have ever used for a green crop. I reckon I got 10 tone per acre more than I should have done without its use. I have tried many manures, and find your Superphosphate far and away the belt of any " (Signed) Yours truly, G RUTHVBN.
