The Northumberland Miners' Associa tion have ruseinde-d tho resolution parsed in September, by which it was decided not to continue the salaries of Mr Thomas Burt, secretary to the Union and M.P. lor Morputh, and that of Mr C. Fonwick, member of tbe executive of tho Aseociation, and M.P. for the Wansbeck division, Northumberland. The Anti-bounty Association has resolved to urge upon tbe Government tbe desirability of abolishing al drawbacks on bounty-fed sugars sent for refining pur poses to England, and also to agitato for ihe cessation of tbe practice of permitting such sugars to be refined iv bond. The Association, with a view of furthering theee objects, have decided to take tbe necessary sty-ps to impress iheir views upon the British delegates who are to attend tne international conlerence which is shortly to bo held for tho consideration of the bounties question.
