Cnina, Japan, Straits Settlements, Aden, Egypt, and the Continent of Europe, <fee. at 10.15 a.m. For the United Kingdom (for correspondence specially addressed via Brindisi), Tasmania, and Australian Colonies, per s.s. Wairarapa, at 10.16 *.m. The English mail of this despatch will be due in London on Ist August. Postal and Telegraph Hoiday arrangements n honour of Her Majesty's Jubihe. On the 20th inst. the Post-office will be closed and all mails advertised for despatch on that day will close at 6 a.m. The town and suburban receivers will be cleared at 7 p.m. on Saturday, the 18th inst., and a general delivery of correspondence will be made over the public counter the same day between the hours of 7 and 8 p.m. The Telegraph office will be open between 9 and 10 a m. and 7 and 8 p.m On Tuesday and Wednesday, the 2 1st and 22nd inßt,. the Post and Telegraph office will be closed at noon, and the Telegraph Office ■will re-open in the evenings between 7 andj 8 p.m. All mails advertised to close on these days after noon will clese at 11.30. The ordinary town deliveries will be suspended, and instead one general delivery by letter carriers will be made each day at 8 a.m. (Signed) J. W. WILKIN, Chief Postmaster.
