In a short time after twenty were stricken down and writhing in agony. Dr Knowle9, from Inverell, was soon in attendance, and is doing all he can for the sufferers. A later telegram states that traces of arsenic had been discovered in the tea leaves. It might be worth mentioning that the chief articles used for the adulteration of cheap Teas are Rose Pink, Arsenic Paste, Sulphate of Iron, Verdigris, Dutch Pink, &c.
