They then decamped, having loat three of their number in the encounter, ADEN, Nov. 23. The British Political Resident has formally annexed the Island of Socotrs, situated to the north east of Cape Gardaf vi, on the African coaet. This haa been done in consequence of Germany's having, annexed tho Island of Moghady, on the Somauli coast. CONSTANTINOPLE, Nov. 22, General Kaulhars ha 3 arrived from Sofia. CALCUTTA, Nov. 23. Renewed reports are to hand from Afghanistan that the victories obtained by the Grhilzai tribes who are in revolt, over the Afghan troops, have caused a spread of the outbreak. It is stated to be a protest on the part of the Ghilzais and other tribes against the Ameer's alliance with Britain. ____________
