s - 4 __ [By Cable.] ; London, July 28. The cricket match Australians v. an eleven of England waa resumed and concluded at Stoke to-day. The attendance was good, and the weather tine. The Home team, with one wicket down' for 35,'---continued their first innings, which closed for 119; Gh B. Studd (27) being thejprincipal scorer. Being 129 behind the Australians the Englishmen followed on, and all were disposed of for 148 ; Barnes (Notts) and Flowers being the most successful batsmen, each making 29. Australians — First innings, 248. Eleven — First innings, 119; second innings, 148. Total, 267. Time did not parmit of the match being played out, and it was therefore declared drawn.
