Details to hand in regard to the railway collision near Mentone show that the accident was considerably over-stated. Only two lives were lost, in tbe collision, and neither o£ the victims was English. The weekly returns of the Bank of Eugland show tho total renerve in notes aor? bullion to bo £14,600,000, tbe proportion of reserve to liabilities being 46 per cent. New Zealand securitien are quoted as follows i — 5 per cent. N.Z. loan, LI O3 ex div.; 4£ por cent. 1879-1904 ditto, LlO2 10a ; 4 per cent, inscribed stock, LlO3. Hides are in limited demand at £d lower. CONSTANTINOPLE, March 11. At their preliminary meeting the Ambaesadore approved an amendment in the form of an agreement on the Roumelian Question.
