— + — _ INVERCARGILL CO. V. BBITANNIA CO. This match was commenced on Saturday, 22nd January, when each cub played an innings, leaving the senior club with 10 run 6to the good. The 1.0.0. in their second innings were all disposed of ior 43 runs. Baymond and Dalrymple both bowled well for their.olub. The Britannia had 54 runs to get to win and the match was looked upon as a very olose thing. Tbe 1.C.0.'5, however, worked together in such remarkably good style that they disposed off their opponents for the small score of 38 runs, thtas winning by 15 runs.
