Sis —As the majority of the ratepayers are not likely to take the trouble to calculate the amount to be received by the corporation from the Tramway Company for maintaining .'their lines, allow me space to state that it will amount to the magnificent sum of £63 per annum. For this amount, if the newspaper statements are correct, the Company will be relieved from all responsibility for the condition of the streets.
