T. J. Warren v. R. Riordan — Claim of L 4 for fruit, &c, sold and delivered. The case had been set down for hearing on 20th ult, but defendant served plaintiff with a notice to take evidence at Invercargill. The evidence, however, was declined there, owiug to the Court not being 20 miles from the Bluff. The case was undefended, and judgment was given for plaintiff for L 2 9a, the remainder having been paid into Court ; costs, LI 0s 6d.
