GOBB v. WXSDfI^M, The return match between thesa clabf w«b played at Gore on Saturday. Kiogswell captained the visitors, and Ambrose the local team. Wyndham defended the north goal daring the first spell, and both teams had a force-down. In the second spell the play was fast and furious, and a considerable amount of feeling was shown, particularly by the local team. Towards the close of the last spell, in fact after time was up fully fire minutes, Gore dribbled the billj over their opponent*' goal-line, but failed to secure the coveted tonch-down ; a maul resulting in favour of Wyndham. The game ihus ended in a draw. Of the pay there is little to say, Gore passed well, and at times jadiciously, thus greatly relieving their side ; in this way they had a great advantage over their opponents, who should take a lesson in that department. Considering this is tho second c mtest taken part in by the Wyndham club, the members of the team are to be coogratu* lated on their efforts. Ist Jaly, 1885.
