Caristmas and New Tear's Days b^ing Post O£ce holidays, all mails for despatch on these days will be closed at 8 o'clock, and the town and suburban receiving boxes cleared at 7 o'clock the previous evenings. There will be no delivery by letter carriers on Christmas or New Tear's Days, but instead a general delivery will be made at the Post«OtSce between the hours of 7 and 8 p.m. on the 24th and 31st inst. On Boxing Pay the Post Office will only be opened between 9 and 10 a.m. A general delivery will be made by the letter carriers at 8 am. The town and suburban receiving boxed cleared at 9 a.m., and all mails acvertised to close up to 10 a m. will be despatched aa usual. The Telegraph Office will be opeD on Chriatmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day between the hours of 9 and lv) a.m. and 7 and 8 p.m., and the Telephone Exchange on Christinas and New Tear's Dajsfor one hour from 9 to 10 am.
