The brigantine Prosperity, Charles Brophy, master, arrived in the estuary on Friday, 11th Inst., from Rockhampton. Captain Brophy reports that he letf Keppell Bay on 2lst June witfi fresh B.E. winds, which lasted until the 27th. Rounded Sandy Cape on that date ; the wind .veering to 8.W., at whiph point it lasted till let iut., the position bn that date being 32 deg. 66min. lat. 154, 56 E., long. A succession of Btrong easterly winds followed, with remarkably high barometer, standing for three days at 80.80. These winds carried the vessel to 40deg. B. '_On 6th inst. a westerly gale set in, the Vessel doing good work, the last day's run being 175 miles. Sighted the Solanders on the runaing of 10th, and from thence to port had variable winds. Took the pilot on board and crossed the bar at 4 p.m. on 11th, coming to an anchor in the lower harbor shortly after.
