IN BANKRUPTCY.
Mr Jones, on behalf of ,T. H. Dawßon'and H. Wilson, applied "to have George: Weeks adjudicated at bankrupt. — The papers not being in order the application was adjourned. James Miller Brown and John McCalluro were adjudicated bankrupts on their own petitions, Mr Matthews appearing for the debtors. ■•-■-■.,■■, > . On the application, of Mr Finn, Patrick iCarmody was. adjudicated a bankrupt; '<■ , The public examination of Alexander Mclntyre, for whom, Mr Reads, appeared, was declared completed. In the matter of the bankruptcy ot Henry Pinkiert, Mr Howard, on behalf of the debtor, applied for the Court's consent to a. deed of composition.— Mr Harvey, for the Deputy Assignee and creditors, offered no objection, and his Honor granted an order of approval.— Mr Howard said hV would further apply for an order to annul the bankruptcy, upon the deed of composition being executed, and his Honor agreed to take the application in Chambers at a later stage. In the bankruptcy of John Hare, the trustees applied to have certain bills handed over by the Bank of New South Wales. At the last sitting of the Court the proof of debt of the Bank had been allowed, and the present application was for an order that the. bills- upon which that proof was made, be handed over, upon payment of the first dividend.— Mr Wade appeared for the Bank, and Mr Harvey for the true tees.— -His Honor ordered that the dividend be paid upon the presentation of the bills for endorsation of the payment. The trustees were not entitled to have the bills handed over. Costs were allowed to the Bank, of New South Wales. The public examinations of W. F. Clark, A. D. Kennedy, and John Hodgkinson (Forest Hill), were fised for the July sittings of the Court. The Court then adjourned sine die.
