Deferred Payment Residence.
TO THE EDITOR. g IB| — "Will you give me any information as to the deferred payment system? 1 thought that a settler should live so many years on a section belore he could purchase. I see in last week'e paper that the Land Board granted a settler leave to purchase asectioH in Menzies Ferry, and three months ago the ranger reported him for not jliving on his section. Now, sir, if three or four nights is plenty for a man to live there and comply with the residence clause, any man can hold a deferred payment section ; and if the same man can keep an hotel seven miles away at the same time and fulfil both the licenses, there is something wrong somewhere ; and if yon will point it ont through your paper, yon will greatly oblige A Constant Bbadbb.
