Retail Prices— Fresh butter, lOdper lb ; eggs, lOd per doz ; cheese, 8d to lOd per lb ; milk, 4d per quart. Beef, 4d to 8d per lb ; mutton, 3d to 5d ; pork, 7d ; ham, Is ; bacon, lOd per lb; lamb, 3s to 3s 6d per quarter.
