Wantwood, 27th December, 1882. Joseph Hatch, Esq., Invercargill. Dear Sir,— l have used your "WILBOS'S Colonial Sheep Dip" for the last four seasons, and last year dipped over sixty thousand (60,000) Crossbred Sheep with it. I have great pleasure in informing you that our Sheep all looked well at shearing time, having no lice or ticks on them, nor did I see a single " plucky" sheep amongst them. The wool also was in good sound condition. I have to add that last year 1 used cold water only for dipping with, and found your Dip equally as efficacious as when used with hot water. This is worthy of remark, as it reduces the cost of dipping considerably I am, yours faithfully, WILLIAM A. DONALD, Station Manager for N.Z. Agricultural Co.'y. Edendale Estate, 14th January, 1882. Messrs J. Hatch and Co., Invercargill. Dear Sirs,— ln reply to your enquiry as%j£he success of the Sbeep Dip you supplied m^^fci last season, I have much pleasure in stating W; it gave me gr.eat satisfaction and fully sustaimsl the previous high opinion I had formed of yoriz dipping compound. Without doubt, as far as my experience goes, there is no Sheep Dip to compare with it in its lasting effects (and thiß I believe is the most essential property in an insect destroying compound, as any one of the numerous Dipping preparations in the market will destroy vermin for the time being) and I never saw flocks so clean and free from lice and ticks as were those here at the past shearing season, notwithstanding that the dipping took place so long ago as March. With regard to the use by Mr Logan Wilson of the previous testimonial I gave you, I have only to say he certainly has not my permission to use it. The Dip he is advertising may or may not be equal to or superior to yours for ought Hmow, but until I have had experience of the compound manufactured by him I must protest against the insertion of my testimonial to youra in his Circular.— l am, dear Sirs, Tours truly, Wm. Hat, Manager. Waikawa Station, Jan. 1, 1883. Messrs J. Hatch and Co., InvercargilL DfiAJB. Sirs,— Your lette* of tbe QOth Deeesi ber, to hand some time ago. I have to ac knowledge that my flock is in better condition this year than ever they have been, and the fleece is in splendid order and sheep free from vermin. Your Dip has given me satisfaction. I remain, yours faithfully, D. K. McEab. With a view to prevent disappointment and loss by our patrons purchasing imitations of this Dip, please see that every Dram or Cask bears our Registered Trade Mark— also the WBITTBN Signature of the Sole Proprietors and Manufacturers— on the Label of directions.
