'■' • ■ [By TeleghaphJ DUSHPIIf, NOW 29. This steamer has now almost completed her loading and will leave for England on 6th December. The shipment of frozen meat prepared for her by the New Zealand Refrigerating Company consisted of 72(56 carcases, but 1428 of these have been unavoidably shot out and will be shipped, instead by the ship Dunedin, which leaves about three weeks heuce. The principal contributors to this total number are Mr J. Reid, Oamanij 1013; Messrs Smith and Sons, Tuapeka, 1003; Murray, Roberts and Co., Strath Taieri, 971 ; Mr J. Douglas, Waimate, 967 ; N.Z. and A.L. Co., Clutha, 700 ; Mr Studholme, Waimate, 487; E. Menlove, Oatnaru, 482. The total weight of the shipment is a little over 237 tons, or an average of 73 lbs per sbepp. The chamber for butter, etc., is also expected to be well filled before departure.
