Hams 'and "bacon, in cloth, 8d per lb ; out of cloth, 7id. Retail prices — Fresh butter, lOd yev lbj cheese, lOd to Is per lb ; beef, 2d to 6d per lb; mutton, 2d to 4d per lb ; pork, Gd per lb ; ham, Is per lb ; bacon, 9d per lb ; lamb, 2s Gd and 3s 6d per quarter ; milk, 4d per quart; eggs, Is per dozen.
