CARSWELL, WHITE AND CO., (in conjn notion with the National Mortgage and Agency Company) have received instruction from John McLean, Esq., who is retiring from farming, to sell by public auction at Prince of Wales Hotel, In vercargill, on the . above date, all that valu able wheat growing farm in Tuturau Distric known as EDENBANK, Containing 521 acres, more or less, subdivided into thirteen paddocks. Buildings consist of an eight • roomed dwelling house, scullery and dairy, men's hut, eight-stalled stable, with two loose boxes, shearing and straw sheds, barn, granary, and chaff-house, a twelve-stalled cowshed, and other buildings, also substantial sheep yards. Tbe Farm is in excellent working order, and 40 acres are sown with wheat, 50 acres with oats, 140 acres are fallow ready for turnips and grass, 160 acres are laid down with English grass, and the balance is in natural state, 70 acres of which are heavy growing timber. This Farm was one of the earliest and best selections in the Tuturau District and is remarkable for its yields of wheat per acre and its grass producing qualities ; it is well watered, having a never failing supply in every paddock. It is situated three miles from Wyndham Township and Railway Station, and about 30 miles from Invercargill.
