Received Nov. 22, 1882, 9.20 p.m. MELBOURNE, Nov. 22. Arrived, this morning — Union Co.'s s.s. Te Anau, from Bluff. At the intercolonial rifle contest, which has been held here, the Victorian team secured first place, the Tasmania representatives being second. Rainfall has been experienced throughout tbis colony, and has greatly benefited the growing crops and pasture land. Received Nov. 23, 1882, 1 a.m. MELBOURNE, Nov. 22. The English cricketers commenced a match to-day against a team of twentytwo, at Sandhurst. The home team went in first and were all disposed of for a total of 100. At the close of the day's play the Edglishmen bad lost six wickets for 36 runs. There was a large attendance of spectators. Malting barley, weak at 4s to 4s' 2d, and priceß are nominal; shipping wheat steadier
