ST. PETERSBURG, Nov. 26. An attempt on tho life of General Ignatieff, Minister of the Interior, was made in ihis city to-day by a youth, who tired at the General with a revolver. He was at once arrested, and has since confessed that lie was instigated to commit the crime. ' VIENNA, Nov. 20. The decision of the Government to place Bosnia under the Austrian system of military service has caused great discontent among the Bosnians, especially on the part of those resident in ihe district of Cattaro, -on the Montenegrin frontier. The inhabitants of that district have risen in arms against the Austrian authorities, and severe fighting lias already taken place between the insurgents and the Austrian troops despatched to Cattaro.
