The Union Company's e,e. Te Anau arrived at the Bluff at 2.20 p.m. yesterday. She left Melbourne on the 22nd at 4 p.m.; cleared the Heads at 6.30 p.m.; passed Swan Island on the 23rd at 11.40 a.m., and Cape Pillar on the 24th at 5 a.m.; arrived at Hobart at 8 a.m., and sailed at 3 p.m. Strong head winds with confused seas were experienced for the first two days; then lierht Tariable weather until arrival. The Te Anau discharged 38 tons of general cargo, and sailed for Port Chalmers at 6 p.m. The|bar'que Edwin Bassitt arrived at the Bluff at daylight yesterday. She left Newcastle on the '4th 'inst. with a S.S.E. wind and fine weather, and had a dead beat all the passage. She brings' 650 tons of coal consigned to Messrs Nichol and Tucker, and began discharging yesterday afternoon. The wharf yesterday wore a very busy aspect, the outside berths being all taken up.
